Why We Started
For centuries, India’s rich traditions have thrived through storytelling, music, dance, martial arts, and handicrafts. But with modern lifestyles shifting, younger generations are growing up with limited exposure to these cultural gems. We believe that traditions should not just be remembered—they should be experienced, practiced, and passed on.
Virginia (Chantilly) was home to Ipaatti’s first-ever camp, marking the beginning of an incredible journey. It was here that we witnessed firsthand how cultural learning can be a truly transformative experience. The energy, enthusiasm, and deep connections formed during the camp reaffirmed our belief in the power of hands-on learning. Seeing participants embrace traditional arts, music, and martial practices with such passion inspired us to bring this experience to more communities.
Building on this overwhelming success, we are now expanding to new locations! Illinois (Schaumburg) and Maryland (Clarksburg) are exciting additions, bringing this immersive experience to even more communities.
