இளம் எழுத்தாளர் விருது (Young Tamil Author 2017) -  Submit Story by January 14, 2017. 

உங்கள் குழந்தைகளின் கதைகளைப் பதிவு செய்யுங்கள்.சிறந்த கதைகளுக்கு இளம் எழுத்தாளர் விருது 2017!

The objective is to give life to children's imagination. Your kid(s) imagination will be converted into a beautifully illustrated children tamil book or a bilingual book. We believe this would inspire your children to create more books and inspire his/her peers. We strongly believe that in this process your children will learn tamil, which is the primary objective. 

This story project can be an individual work or team work. A team can be a kid & parents or kid & teacher.

The cost will cover book printing cost & other logistic expenses. 

Awards:

1) Title "இளம் எழுத்தாளர் விருது" 2017. 

2) Story book printed and delivered to your address. 

3) The story book will feature in "Mellinam" story reading app, which will be Tamil schools across globe.  

4) Top 5 stories will receive gift worth $250.

Rule & Guidelines:

  • Submit your story by Jan 14, 2017. 
  • Young author age should be between 5 - 16 yrs 
  • The story should be an original work and should be submitted in Tamil. 
  • The story should have minimum 200 words and maximum of 900 words. 
  • Can be an Individual work or a Team work. Team can be kid(s) & parents or kids & Teacher.  
  • The end product is a children book. Each page will have few lines of text and illustrations for the text. Please work toward the end product.  
  • Any illustrations from the "Young Author" is accepted. The objective of this project is to give life to your kid imagination. Illustration + story will be great project. 
  • Creative common images can be used. Do not use images with copy rights.
iPAATTI will not check for any copy rights. It is the responsibility of the parent or the guardian, who work with children to ensure the original work. And, the parent or the guardian should  ensure that illustrations are creative commons, if images are take from internet.
